Today we’re going to be talking about 5 DIY natural beauty hacks. These are things that I use myself, and I just wanted to share them with you in case you weren’t able to go out and buy. You know expensive products that have loads of chemicals of them that are really harmful to our skin and our bodies. I started moving towards natural beauty hacks. When I started to kind of go down a low waste lifestyle I’m trying to reduce my impact on the earth and also help make my body as healthy as possible at the same time so today I’m going to be showing you five beauty hacks that I hope you enjoy it.
Number one which is one of my favorites is green tea.I love to use this as a facial toner.
What you have to do is just take one teaspoon of green tea loose-leaf.Make sure it’s loose-leaf if you can get your hands on it and then brew it like just a normal cup of tea.Once it’s cooled down try and find a spray bottle that you are reusing or that you’ve had before that you’ve used up in your products, and we use that bottle to fill it up with your green tea toner. It depends on how sensitive your skin is but it’s such a wonderful and light facial toner, so you can fill it up to the top, however, diluted it is foryour skin and then put the top on and spray on just as you would any other kind of toner it’s super simple, and it’s light and sensitive.
The second one is jojoba oil. I hadn’t realized how wonderful and beneficial it was.
Use it to moisturize your body. It’s really nourishing and it’s just a beautiful smelling the oil that helps to make sure you know you can restore the balance in your body and it’s just great for any ofthose tough kind of dry skin areas.
You can use it in the ends of your hair to nourish those dry ends. You sometimes blow dry your hair and you need to have that extra moisturization or if you have curly hair and you want some extra moisture then pull it through the ends of your hair before you shampoo your hair and then once you’ve run it through the ends of your hair just shampoo as normal.
You can again use the oil to remove any dirt or oil or makeup from your face’s a real gentle way of just cleansing and making sure that your face is as clean as possible. You get spots when your face is dirty and you’re using something to like a hobo oil to get rid of that dirt from the day even if you don’t wear makeup makes such a difference you can use your fingers or a cotton pad andthen wipe it off with a warm towel afterward.
Better Night Clay
If you haven’t heard of it it’s a wonderful way to detoxify.
The first way that I like to use it is to take a couple of spoonfuls and some water and mix it up into a paste and then because I’d like to move towards natural deodorants now and it’s a great way to detoxify your your armpits from having used many years using there’s normal chemical heavy deodorants if you just put it on your armpits like so, and you leave it for about 10 to 20 minutes until it’s hardened and then you wipe it off with a warm towel take your time you don’t want to pull it off you just put the warm towel over it just hold it for a few seconds and then wipe it off it’s a great way to detoxify your armpits so that when you do use natural deodorants you aren’t going to stank.
It’s great for your armpits but it’s also great for your face if like me you do get blackheads and spots occasionally it’s a great way to just talk safai your face you can just put it on like you would any other face mask and leave it on for you know 10 minutes not too long and once it’s time to dry then take a warm cloth like with your armpits and wipe it off and give it a good rinse with warm water afterward.
The next one is to add some activated charcoal to this kind of face mask with a better night clay.
If you add one tablespoon of activated charcoal 1 tablespoon of bentonite clay and then some apple cider vinegar but if you do have susceptible skin make sure you dilute that apple cider vinegar so it’s only a tiny bit in there or if your skin is sensitive just omit the outside of your anchor anduse it as water once you’ve mixed this up into a paste again apply it to your face like a normal face mask I found that this one helps with blackheads, it’s something that helps just like the other ones to detoxify your face it all depends on kind of what your preferences are but if you can get your hands on activated charcoal can be such a wonderful the thing for your skin and then same with the others you can wipe it off with a warm cloth although this one will take a little bit longer to get off and then make sure you wash your face with some warm water afterward.
You have a coffee every day you might as well save these and use them as a natural exfoliator.
You can use them just on their own or you can add some coconut oil do a couple of teaspoons of coffee grounds with one teaspoon of coconut oil and then you can use it as a reallynourishing exfoliator for your entire the body make sure because of your coffee grounds can be quite coarse, but you’re still, gentle while smashing them into your body but it’s a wonderful a wonderful way to scrub down reallynaturally, coconut oil also is just such a wonderful product for so many things but I would take Li-like to use it as a makeup remover I haven’t been able to find anything else that is very gentle on my eyes as much as coconut oil is I will use it as just all over my face with my hands just really really going into my eyes and just removing that make up it’s so super gentle and then I use a warm cloth with a bit of soap to get rid of the oil from my face.
If I do have oil on my face I have to wash it off thoroughly with a very mild soap and warm cloth.
